ArcusStonecoat™ is a unique blend of crushed limestone and other natural minerals, special bonding agents, Portland cement and numerous proprietary ingredients - yielding a strong, reliable and versatile decorative coating that allows architects and designers to put limestone just about anywhere they want it.
Field-applied ArcusStonecoat offers infinite design flexibility with a variety of natural colors, textures and patinas. And with high compressive, flexural and tensile strengths, you can simply do more with it in more places.
ArcusStonecoat can be applied by hand or sprayed onto virtually any stable substrate, and typically requires no mounting or stabilizing hardware. And it's exceptional for onsite custom stone carving.
All ArcusStone products are installed exclusively by specially trained artisan applicators. With their considerable skills, ArcusStonecoat can achieve a wide range of aesthetic objectives, from elegant to authentic, without the time and cost inherent with quarried stone.
ArcusStone coated foam shapes are ideal for large-scale decorative elements, such as sills, corbels, and moldings, where the weight of solid cast stone is prohibitive. Lightweight and easy to install, they can be finished to complement the field-applied ArcusStone products.
Construction, Materials, Finishes
ArcusStonecoat™ and ArcusPlaster™ are comprised of patented blends of limestone aggregates, bonding agents and Portland cement. Both products are colored using mineral oxide pigments, ensuring a high resistance to UV light degradation and fading.
ArcusStonecoat material can be used to create countertops, fireplaces, door and window surrounds, custom columns, arches, flooring, wainscoting, and numerous other decorative stone elements.
ArcusPlaster creates a European look of mottled, aged stucco that has developed a rich, warm patina over time.
Details concerning standard colors and textures are available from the manufacturer. Color matching is available. Requests for custom colors or textures must be reviewed by an ArcusStone technical representative or a trained applicator.
