EPS Foam Signs-Architectural Signage

Polycraft Designs Monuments

Polycraft Designs offers you more freedom and versatility of designs at a cost far below that of masonry walls or molded decoration. We can meet all of your needs and requirements with this highly diverse system. Various architectural elements can be added to the standard wall shapes to further enhance your designs to achieve a clear and consistent theme tailored to each project.

This exterior grade system consists of an architectural foam core encased within our protective Styrothane coat, which is further enhanced by our application of a textured finish coat.

The signage may be applied to the wall with a variety of adhesives or silicone type materials. You may use Polyfoam letter, as well as plastic, wood or brass logos. We offer our clients unlimited custom monument sign options. You can choose from one of our 38 standard monument sign models or create custom monuments of any size, color or shape. SIGNAGE INSTALLATION

  1. Measure the depth of the 4 inch precut pipe sleeve and add to it the length needed for the footer. Direct burial installation is required.

  2. Cut a piece of 4˝ aluminum pipe to the measurement determined
    in step 1.

  3. Smear panel adhesive recommended for foam onto the pipe to the depth of the precut sleeve.

  4. Using a twisting motion, insert the glued end of the pipe into the sleeve.

  5. Dig the footer to the depth specified by your engineer.

  6. Center the pipes in place and fill the holes with concrete. You may also need to make level landings at each end to hold the sign plumb while the concrete dries.

Permanent/Temporary/Breakaway

That’s right, our sign system is Permanent/Temporary and Breakaway, and here’s how!

  1. It is “Permanent” because the pipes are secured in the ground with concrete.

  2. It is “Temporary” because the pipes can be cut off at or below ground level and the existing pipe can then be sleeved over a slightly smaller diameter pipe and reinstalled in a new location.

  3. It is “Breakaway” for two reasons; the core of the sign is EPS (expanded polystyrene) and the recommended 4 inch pipe is made of aluminum and neither of these materials will withstand a substantial impact with a car. The sign being able to “Breakaway” from such a collision greatly reduces property damage and injuries.
